Walking: Many of the cities
and towns within the 2015 Pan and Para Am Games geographic zones, are increasingly being geared to serve the pedestrian
traveler. Many of the regions of South-western Ontario have become renown for the hiking trails: e.g. The Bruce Trail.
Cycling: Numerous bike paths and
routes exist in many of the urban areas. There are several long distance cycling events in this region which gives testimony
that the bike routes exist throughout..
Rickshaws and Pedicabs: (Spring, Summer and Autumn): In the larger Metropolitan centres.
Public Transportation: Buses,
Trains and even a Ferry boats serve the regions so that traveling is a viable
means of transportation in the cities and larger towns. The network of Go Trains services much of the population.
Gray Coach provides bus service between many of the cities, towns and rural areas.
Car Rentals: Many of the global Car Rental Companies
have numerous locations throughout the cities and towns.
Auto Share: Several auto-share companies serve the the major urban markets.
Taxis: In most cases it's just
a phone call away - even in rural areas although the wait might be longer than in the cities and towns.
Limousines: From stretch limos to Bentleys
and Roll Royce's; from smaller executive limos to larger ones that can even include a hot tub. All with personalized
service that lets you and your guests ride in style.
Chartered Buses: Various sizes of buses can be chartered from travel within the city or for
excursions out of the city.
RVs:
Recreational Vehicles can be rented allowing for both accommodation and transportation.
Boats and Yachts: Lake Ontario's
waterfront is well developed within the region of the games and as such numerous locations are available. Most larger
lakes north of the city also rent or charter this mode of transport
Planes and Helicopter: A great way to see the province from a unique
vantage point. A helicopter, for those who can afford it can whisk you from one part of a city to another, or from one
area of the province to another, saving you time.
Moving and Relocation Services: When you want to move goods within the city or to and from any
area of south-western Ontario you will want to have a relocation and logistics company to ensure products are received
or get to where you want them to go in a timely fashion.
